I had considered conducting a bibliometric analysis of some sort to provide hard data on respondents' growing perceptions of the accessibility, credibility, quality, and uses of e-journals and their content. However, the ongoing research program of Harter and Kim discussed in chapter 1 (see 1.8.2: Citation studies on page 21) is covering this area very thoroughly. I investigated obtaining the library project user survey results, but most projects in my sample had not undertaken such surveys. The studies from the exception, Highwire, are briefly discussed in chapter 9 (see 9.4.2: Insights from research literature on page 177).
