Traditional Paper Presentations |
- Audience does little preparation beforehand
- 3 papers in a 90 minute session, so each paper slot is 30 minutes
- Author talks for 25 minutes, usually involving 'death by Powerpoint'
- Only time for a few questions at end of each talk
- Poor use made of physical co-location
- You get talked at by other people!
